About the Teaching Artist

Eva Paul is enrolled in the Yakama Nation. She began beading at the age of seven (7). Taught by her late mother Twyla Jim Paul (Yakama), Eva carries on the family tradition. Her feather earrings and medallions were inspired by her late father, Alexander Paul Jr. (Colville).

From the most complex project of medallions to her earrings, Eva beads these styles: flat stitch on Pellon, peyote stitch on lanyards and earrings, beaded wrapped rope lanyards, beaded dreamcatcher earrings and  brick stitch earrings.
