Envisioning the New Outside In Gallery: By the Community, For the Community

The Museum of Northwest Art invites the community to join us in re-imagining the Outside In Gallery!

The Outside In Gallery was launched in January 2019 with the goal of forging new connections and strengthening partnerships by inspiring and amplifying all voices and lived experiences in our community, thus contributing in making MoNA a welcoming place, where all members of the community experience belonging. Three years ago a seed was planted. Thanks to the strong dedication of our community of educators, students, and partners, that seed has outgrown its original space! Like a sapling growing in a pot, the programs in the Outside In Gallery deserve more fertile soil and not risk being root-bound!

In a reflection of this growth, the Outside In Gallery is undergoing a momentous transformation: moving from the current space into a larger gallery located just around the corner in the main galleries.

We invite the community to participate in our visioning process: we want to hear your voice and ideas on everything: from how you envision the physical space, to what programs you'd like to experience, to what partnerships you would like MoNA to develop! Imaginando la nueva galería Outside In: Por la comunidad, para la comunidad 

¡El Museo de Arte Noroeste (MoNA) invita a la comunidad a unirse a nosotros para reimaginar la galería Outside In!

La galería Outside In se puso en marcha en enero de 2019 con el objetivo de inspirar y elevar todas las voces y experiencias vividas en nuestra comunidad con fines de forjar conexiones nuevas y fortalecer colaboraciones, ayudando así a hacer de MoNA un lugar acogedor para todos los miembros de la comunidad. Hace tres años se plantó una semilla. ¡Gracias a la gran dedicación de nuestra comunidad de educadores, estudiantes y socios, esta semilla ha superado su espacio original! ¡Al igual que un retoño que crece en una maceta, los programas de Outside In Gallery merecen tierras más fértil y no correr el riesgo de atrofiar su crecimiento!

Como reflejo de este crecimiento, Outside In Gallery está en proceso de una transformación trascendental: pasar del espacio actual a una galería más grande ubicada a la vuelta de la esquina.
