MoNA Link Summer Institute 2024

  • Museum of Northwest Art 121 1st Street La Conner, WA, 98257 United States (map)

This training is free for teachers enrolled in our MoNA Link 2024-2025 cohort and $100 for any other educator to enroll in all three days of the Summer Institute.

Earn up to 21 clock hours while you explore resources to integrate art into your classroom! The MoNA Link Summer Institute takes place over three days, on August 13, 14, and 15 from 9am-4pm. We’ll dive into arts integration with social emotional learning (Day 1), science (Day 2), and the inherent value of art education (Day 3). Learn from MoNA Educators and teaching artists, collaborate with other educators, and get inspired by art during this three day program!

The MoNA Link program is a partnership between MoNA and local school districts. It is a one-year professional development program in art education for teachers and includes art lessons taught in the classroom by a museum educator and museum visits for the students.

Please click here to learn more about MoNA Link and email education@museumofnwart.org for more information on the training.

Participants are able to claim up to 21 clock hours for this program, but the clock hour fees are NOT included in the registration cost.
