Meet & Greet

This will be an opportunity for artists and scientists to meet and socialize with one another with the goal of choosing a collaborator to work with to create artwork for Surge 2023. **NOT open to the general public.
Light snacks and beverages will be served.
The Museum of Northwest Art encourages artists interested in Surge to attend the Meet and Greet event scheduled for January 21, 1-3pm at the Museum. Artists will have the opportunity to meet scientists from the Skagit Climate Change Consortium and start meaningful conversations about a potential collaboration. Exhibition Curator Chloe Dye Sherpe will discuss the process and timeline of the exhibition, followed by a panel discussion involving past participants in Surge and time for attendees to converse about collaborations.
