Volunteer at the Museum of Northwest Art
The MoNA Link Program offers free training for anyone interested in becoming a volunteer tour leader for our pre-K, elementary and middle school groups.
Our next training will occur Septemer 13th and 14th from 10am- 3pm, at the Museum of Northwest Art.

MoNA Link has been serving school districts throughout the Skagit Valley since 2003, bringing students into the museum for hands-on art lessons, student-centered discussion and literacy activities. We offer a unique opportunity for students to engage with stimulating works of art while building critical thinking, language and literacy skills.
Our volunteer guides are given special training in the Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS), a method for encouraging student-led interpretation of selected works of art.  Students who participate in MoNA Link develop comfort in the museum setting and confidence in their ability to make sense of what they see, skills that they can build on into adulthood.
If you have a background or interest in youth education and the arts, please consider becoming a volunteer tour leader.
To learn more or find out about the next training, contact Jasmine Valandani at (360) 466-4446, ext 101.
