Here are some helpful tips for those of you planning to join us:

Where is the 2016 MoNA Art Auction, and how do I get there?
Both the Friday night Preview Party and the Saturday Auction will be held at the Wa Walton Event Center at the Swinomish Casino & Lodge, located at 12885 Casino Dr., Anacortes, WA, 98221. It is located on the North side of Highway 20, about 6 miles SE of Anacortes/10 miles W of the I-5 Highway 20 exit.

Do I enter through the Casino or the Lodge?
There is no need to enter through the Casino; the entry for the Auction is located at the Lodge, which is the tallest building at the east end. There is ample parking and complimentary valet parking on Saturday night.

How do I get a catalog of the art?
Please follow this link for an online catalog. Paper copies will be available both June 17 at the Preview Party and June 18 at the Auction.

Will I receive an admission ticket?
There is no paper ticket issued for the Auction; when you arrive, greeters will direct you to Registration and you will receive your bid packet, catalog, and a wristband so Lodge and MoNA staff can easily identify guests. You can pre-register a credit card at the Friday Night Preview Party or at Registration on Saturday.

What should I wear?
Leave the tux at home; think summer and art-inspired cocktail attire—feel free to get creative!

When does bidding begin for Silent Auction items?
Bidding begins at 5pm on Saturday night; these items will be on view during the Preview on Friday between 5-9pm. To see all Silent and Live Auction items, view the catalog here.

What’s happening Friday night, and who can come?
Friday, June 17 from 5-9pm is the Preview Party, open to artists and a guest, auction ticket holders, sponsors, MoNA donors and members, and volunteers. RSVP is strongly recommended: please contact Christy at christyL@museumofnwart.org. A small selection of non-auction works will be available for purchase on Friday night only, including high-quality digital prints by Michael Felber, Alfredo Arreguin, and Cecilia Alvarez.

Is lodging available?
The Swinomish Casino & Lodge offers rooms on site; to check availability, please call (888) 288-8883. To check for available lodging in nearby La Conner, follow this link: La Conner Lodging.
