About the Teaching Artist:

Kayla Williams is an up-and-coming artist in the Bellingham area. She uses a combination of collage, painting, and other mixed media to document her own healing journey, and to share in the collective healing of folks from various marginalized and underrepresented backgrounds. As a former teacher who participated in the 2-year MoNA Link program, Williams has experience teaching young students to own their artistic capabilities, and is now excited to work with adults on crafting their own narratives through the artistic process.
