MoNA invites teens ages 14-18 to join us for the first of two summer art intensives. This program is free and open to artists of all skill levels. Each session provides opportunities to grow and develop your artistic practice, meet fellow artists and art professionals and explore the art and environments of the Pacific Northwest.

Inspired by visiting artist Kelly O’Dell’s summer exhibition, transient (h)ours, we’ll explore new approaches to the creation, documentation and display of temporary artwork through hands-on experimentation and play. Each
series will provide opportunities to work with a variety of materials and test out new methods of creating art. We encourage those with diverse or emerging interest in visual arts to participate!

Artwork created during both summer sessions will be on display at MoNA in the fall.
