Block Printing for the Holidays

With just a few inexpensive tools, you can learn print your own holiday cards. At the same time, you will experience the oldest form of creating multiple prints, relief printmaking. In this workshop, we will carve linoleum to create images to make cards, wrapping paper, or transfer to fabric. 
 
Natalie Niblack has lived on the Skagit River on Fir Island since 2000, and in the Northwest since 1979.  She is a visual artist working in a variety of media: drawing, oil painting, printmaking and ceramics. She taught visual art at Shoreline Community College from1996 to 2016. She received her Master’s degree from Edinburgh College of Art in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1993, and has shown her work in solo and group shows internationally, nationally and regionally. Her work is in the National Museum of Women in the Arts, University of Washington Hospital, and museums in Yekaterinburg Russia and Glasgow Scotland.
