Governance Committee Chair

Gretchen McCauley is a retired school administrator who holds a BA degree from Washington State University, an MA degree from Teachers College at Columbia University, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Seattle University. Gretchen has been on the MoNA board for a number of years and, at various times, has chaired or co-chaired several fund raising events including the Annual Art Auction, Art & Architecture, A Taste of Art, the Estate Sale, and MoNA Style. Gretchen is also a past board Vice President and President and was interim director of the museum for six months in 2005. Currently, she chairs the Governance Committee and serves on the Finance Committee.
 
Gretchen is the Secretary/Treasurer of the Board of Directors for Dunlap Towing Company. Her mother, Phyllis Dunlap, was one of the founding trustees of MoNA.

MoNA collects and exhibits contemporary art from across the Northwest, including Alaska, British Columbia, California, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington.
