Finance Committee

Raised in LaConner, Meghan Rice joined the MoNA Board in 2015. She earned her BA from Washington  State University where she attended the university’s Honors College and holds an MBA from Seattle University. She worked in the Risk Management and Human Resources fields for 10 years in Seattle and recently returned to her roots in the Skagit Valley with her husband in 2014. She is the assistant controller at Dunlap Towing Company, a family-owned marine transportation company.


Before joining the board, Meghan was a volunteer for special events at MoNA for several years. She also volunteered at the Seattle Art Museum, the Seattle Asian Art Museum, and has been a Guild Member for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Seattle since 2009.


Meghan is an avid runner. She and her husband enjoy supporting local non-profit organizations, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and outdoor recreation whether hiking in the summer or skiing during the winter months.

The Museum of Northwest Art connects people with the art, diverse cultures and environments of the Northwest. 



MoNA collects and exhibits contemporary art from across the Northwest, including Alaska, British Columbia, California, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington.
